Destinations

Two islands, two moods — Rhodes for variety, Chalki for calm

Rhodes and Chalki sit side by side in the Dodecanese. One has medieval streets, long beaches, and day-trip options; the other is a ferry hop away, with a pretty harbour and no traffic. Many guests split their trip between both.

Rhodes

History, beaches, and long sunny days

Rhodes is the big island — medieval Old Town, sandy beaches on the east coast, Lindos acropolis, and villages where life still feels Greek. Base here if you want variety: culture in the morning, sea in the afternoon, tavernas at night.

Medieval Old Town — walk the Street of the Knights

East-coast beaches from family-friendly sand to hidden coves

Day trips to Lindos, Valley of the Butterflies, and Prasonisi

Getting here: Fly into Rhodes International (Diagoras). From there, taxis and buses reach the city in 20–30 minutes.

Chalki

The island of peace and friendship

Chalki is Rhodes' quiet neighbour — a tiny island with a pretty harbour, clear water, and almost no cars. Most visitors arrive by ferry from Rhodes (around an hour) and settle into a rhythm of swimming, walking, and long lunches by the water.

Nimborio harbour — colourful houses and waterfront tavernas

Car-free calm and crystal-clear swimming spots

Day walks to Chorio and the hilltop castle

Getting here: Fly to Rhodes, then take the ferry from Rhodes town or Kameiros Skala — typically 60–75 minutes to Chalki.
