We are islanders who live on Rhodes and know Chalki well. My Greek Holiday Home grew from a simple idea: offer a handful of homes we genuinely care about, and help guests feel at home from the moment they land.

Who we are

My Greek Holiday Home is our family-run project on the Dodecanese islands. We are not a big rental agency with hundreds of listings — just a small collection of properties we know inside out.

We live on Rhodes and spend time on Chalki through the season. That means practical help when you need it: a tip for parking near the Old Town, the best time to catch the ferry, or where to find fresh bread on a Sunday morning.

We built this site so you can browse honestly, book simply, and arrive knowing someone local has your back.

What guests can expect

Personal, not corporate

You deal with us directly — no call centre, no rotating staff. We answer messages, meet you when needed, and stay reachable throughout your stay.

Local knowledge

We know which beaches suit families, where to eat without a reservation, and how the ferry to Chalki fits around your flight. Ask us anything.

A small collection

We add homes slowly — only places we would happily stay in ourselves. Each one is looked after personally, not mass-managed.

Two islands, one trip

Rhodes and Chalki sit close together but feel very different. Rhodes has medieval streets, long sandy beaches, and enough to keep you busy for a week. Chalki is the slow counterpart — a tiny harbour, crystal water, and days that revolve around swimming and waterfront tavernas.

Many guests split their holiday: a few days in the city, then a ferry hop to Chalki for the second half. We are happy to help you plan that.

Rhodes

History, beaches, and long sunny days

Rhodes is the big island — medieval Old Town, sandy beaches on the east coast, Lindos acropolis, and villages where life still feels Greek. Base here if you want variety: culture in the morning, sea in the afternoon, tavernas at night.

Chalki

The island of peace and friendship

Chalki is Rhodes' quiet neighbour — a tiny island with a pretty harbour, clear water, and almost no cars. Most visitors arrive by ferry from Rhodes (around an hour) and settle into a rhythm of swimming, walking, and long lunches by the water.
