Areta Beach
A sheltered cove on Chalki's coast — clear water and a sense of being far from everything, even though the island is small. Often reached by boat tour or coastal walk. Tip: bring water and snacks; facilities are minimal.
Podamos Beach
One of Chalki's favourite swimming spots — pebbles, turquoise water, and room to spread out in shoulder season. Tip: combine with a walk along the coast; wear water shoes on the pebbles.
Ftenagia Beach
A quiet bay with boats sometimes moored in the shallows — good for a calm swim and photos of the shoreline. Tip: mornings are calmest before any day-trip boats arrive.
Kania Beach
Approached by boat or path, Kania feels like Chalki at its most untouched — clear water, rocky edges, and few people. Tip: ask locally about boat schedules; paths can be rough.
Tsantou Beach
Near the village with sea and houses in view — easy to combine with a harbour lunch afterwards. Tip: good option if you want a swim without a long hike.
